I'm glad I'm finally writing this one, because I actually watched it back in December. It's a good movie about when women took over baseball because the men were off at war. It sounds like it could be silly, and it is, but it was made in the early 90s I think, and it's got Gena Davis, and Tom Hanks, and Madonna, and Rosie O'Donnell before she was gay. It's also got David Strathairn, of Good Night and Good Luck, who plays the manager of the league. It's not a great movie, but it's good, and it's certainly not bad. I generally enjoy it.
It's always a little different that your average sports movie.
