Doughnuts & Sleep

I think I have officially discovered why it's a bad idea to eat a doughnut right before you try to go to bed. I was on the phone with a friend in DC, and got a little hungry, and ate the damn thing, about 5 minutes before we hung up. I have to work in about 20 minutes now, so I went to bed. No big deal right? Wrong! Between the doughnut and the people have a get-together in another apartment, I barely slept at all. Even after I went down there and told them how much their voices carried (I could pretty much understand their entire conversation, it was only slightly muffled by my window), I barely slept because of all the sugar that was in my system still! Argh!



But now I have to go to work. Which is even better. Luckily it's sunday, and I don't have to be there until 5:15, and it's only 4:55 now. I think I'll stop and get a doughnut, they open at 5....

Yeah well.....eating all those damn Skittles before bed didn't really turn out to be such a good idea either. That's the last time I "taste the rainbow" in bed....
