I'm not entirely sure why I'm awake right now, but I'm watching The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He's so awesome. He's from Scotland, so he's got one of those awesome accents, but it's not so thick that I can't understand him.
While I was in New Zealand, I stayed at a youth hostel in Christchurch called Faulty Towers. It was named for, but not copying entirely Fawlty Towers. At any rate there was an older gent from Glasgow staying there at the same time, and I'm sure he was very nice, and I know he was speaking English, but I couldn't understand a word he said. Actually, I understood a word here and there, but it was few and far between. His accent was so thick, it was crazy!
I miss New Zealand.... I want to go back, but I can't afford it if I want to save money for my future and moving and everything else.... Especially since when it comes to vacations, I really don't know the meaning of "moderation." I was there for 2 months and spent probably $5 grand (or more), and stayed in Youth Hostels at $12-15 per night. The big ticket was that I rented a car and that was $900. So, then I'd spend money on food and the youth hostels. And drop a random $100 or more on activities. It's no wonder I couldn't afford to go sky diving when I wanted to.....
Question of the Day: Where did/ do/ will you go to college/ uni?
